Dream Bowl Palace is yet another year the destination for the Euro Challenge
The first of two European Bowling Tour stops in Munich, Germany this year. The tournament is also a part of the World Bowling Tour and PBA Tour.

|Tax rules||As a consequence of the German tax regulations, there will be
a tax on prize money for non-German participants.
The tax is 15,825% and will be deducted from the prizes by
the organizer. Anyhow, the tax can be refunded at the end of
the year under certain circumstances.
All participants will be obliged to fill in a form provided by the
organizer to meet the needs of the tax authorities.

12 athletes will qualify directly for the final step 2, which is athletes positioned 1-12 in the
52 athletes will qualify for the final step 1, which is:

The athletes are qualified from the categories in the order A – B – C – D
Final step 1
52 athletes will play 6 games starting from scratch.
Top 16 will qualify for the final step 2.
The athletes not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 29-64 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 1.
Final step 2
28 athletes will play 6 games starting from scratch.
Top 8 will qualify for the final step 3.
The athletes not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 9-28 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 2.
Final step 3
8 athletes will play a Round Robin with the pin fall from the step 2 carried forward.
There will be 7 rounds in the Round Robin, each consisting of one game matches, where the 8 athletes will be matched against all other 7 athletes.
After the conclusion of each match, bonus points will be added to the score total as follows:
30 points for a won match and 15 points for a tied match.
The standing after the final step 3 is an accumulated total of the score of the 6 games in step 2, the score of the 7 games in step 3 and all won bonus points in the Round Robin matches.
Top 3 of this standing will qualify for the final step 4.
The athletes not continuing will be ranked 4-8 according to their positions in the final step 3.
Final step 4
There will be 2 stepladder matches, both starting from scratch.
References to positions is to positions after the final step 3.
Stepladder match 1
The athlete positioned 3 and the athlete positioned 2 will play a one game match.
The looser of the match will be ranked 3 in the final tournament standing.
Stepladder match 2
The winner of the previous step and the athlete positioned 1 will play a one game match.
The looser of the match will be ranked 2 in the final tournament standing.
The winner of the match will be ranked 1 in the final tournament standing.
Tournament tie rules
The highest positioned athlete will be the athlete scoring the highest last game. If a tie still
exists, the highest positioned athlete will be the athlete with the highest second last game etc.
A tie influencing who will qualify for the first final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.
Final Step 1-3
Ties influencing who will qualify for the next final step, and ties for any of the first 3 positions in step 3, will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken. In all other tie situations in step 1-3, a procedure similar to the procedure for the qualification will be followed. When games are compared in the final step 3, bonus points won in the matches are not taken into consideration.
Final Step 4
In case of a tie in a match in the final step 4, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
